This canvas collage was made for my pastor, Pastor Jim Rugg, for Pastor Appreciation Month. I started out with two different red patterned papers and two blue patterned papers. I tore them into different sizes and inked all the edges with DI Vintage Photo. I found a piece of distressed word paper and did the same thing to it. I then used 527 glue to attach all the papers. It works kinda like Modge Podge but smells better. I kept applying papers until I had it the way I wanted it. I typed out the verses on vanilla cardstock. I cut it down, used my score board to make two lines on all four sides and then used DI Vintage Photo to distress it. I attached it with the same glue. All of the little embellishments came from a paper pad from HOTP. I fussy cut all the images out and used pop dots to apply them. I coated the entire thing with Polyurethane to seal it. Pastor Jim loved it and has it displayed on his filing cabinet in his office.

What a beautiful, and meaningful way to honor the Shepard the Father has given to you!

This is totally awesome! I love the way the verse and the card go together and sure will bring a smile to your Pastor's face!
